Interview regarding Erasmus exchange in Barcelona (Dutch)

Short interview that was published on the website of Vlamingen in de Wereld (Flemish citizens in the world) about Michiel's Erasmus exchange in Barcelona. The article deals with the reasons for undertaking an Erasmus exchange, the positive and negative experiences for students wanting to study abroad, and what impact the Erasmus Programme has had on his career.

Vlamingen in de Wereld (Flemish citizens in the world) is a non-for-profit organisation, which networks Flemish expats from across the globe. Exchange of information basically takes place through the website and the three-monthly magazine.

Sant Cugat Network at Casa Banana Startup Day (Catalan)

Michiel Das, founder of the Sant Cugat Network, was one of the 100 participants in the first Startup Day organized by Bananity, Wineissocial and Genuinus at their Casa Banana HQ. The evening began with a presentation by the Mayor of Sant Cugat, Mercè Conesa, followed by an introduction of the hand of Pau Garcia-Mila, co-founder of Bananity.

Afterwards, Ferran Centelles, co-founder and sommelier during 11 years at elBulli, prepared a tasting of wines which was carried out by Alex Serra, CEO of Genuinus and former Chief Operating Officer of La Sirena. In the afternoon there was also a presentation about "The art of entrepreneurship" by Manel Sarasa, co-founder and CEO of Wineissocial and advisor / investor to Openbravo, wuaki.tv and Teambox, who iniciated the four round tables debates dealing with issues related to entrepreneurship, finance and marketing  2.0.

Article Sant Cugat Network in the B30 magazine (Catalan)

News article that was published in the B30 magazine about the launch of the Sant Cugat Network of Michiel Das, explaining that more than 300 people have already subscribed to the newsletter, and that the first language exchanges and networking events were a big success.

B30 is one of the most influential magazines focussing on innovation and economic news about the Vallès region of Barcelona, hereby acting as an intermediary between public and private institutions, universities and businesses.

Terrassa Digital is one of the major communication agencies located in Terrassa, one of the most important neighbouring cities of Sant Cugat del Vallès. The Sant Cugat Network is a project that was launched to improve the multicultural contact between the inhabitants of Sant Cugat del Vallès through language exchanges and networking events.
